Competent Crew
The RYA Competent Crew course is for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers. You will experience living on board and really get to know the boat.
Virtually all the course is hands-on. You are the crew - without you, the sails won't go up and the boat won't be steered. By the end of the course, you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day duties on board. The course becomes a rewarding holiday visiting different areas in Marbella

Day Skipper
Take control of the yacht “and” your crew.
During this five-day RYA Day Skipper practical course, you will be given full responsibility at the helm for the crew and navigation with the instructor on hand at all times to provide advice and encouragement and to ensure your safety.
There’s no getting away from it – passing involves some work, some practice, and some dedication. But RYA Day Skipper is your ticket to freedom.
Coastal Skipper
Advanced skippering techniques for yachtsmen and women with considerable knowledge of sailing and
navigation, wanting to undertake coastal passages by day and night.
Like the Day Skipper course, the RYA Coastal Skipper course consists of skippered passages in a variety of situations. Each trainee will skipper more challenging passages and learn more about passage planning, pilotage by day and night, boat handling, safety and emergency situations.

Yachtmaster Coastal
An RYA Yachtmaster™Coastal Certificate of Competence is often the course skippers look to achieve to charter a yacht. It is a well known, highly respected qualification worldwide, proving your experience and competence as a skipper.
Unlike other courses in the cruising program, there is no formal training to complete in order to become a Yachtmaster™. Instead, provided that you have sufficient experience and sea time, you can put yourself forward for an exam to test your skills and knowledge.
Yachtmaster Offshore
An RYA Yachtmaster™ Certificate of Competence is often the ultimate aim of aspiring skippers. It is a well known, highly respected qualification worldwide, proving your experience and competence as a skipper.
